Services For Churches

Churches experience a variety of conflicts...it comes with doing ministry.  At Chrysalis, we offer services that can help.

Conflict Among Members

Ongoing conflict within the Church Board?  Worship Team not getting along?  The Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI) can help members of a group learn what is really driving them, as well as what is motivating others.  This leads to greater understanding and improved teamwork!

A description from the Core Strengths website:

"Rather than focusing on WHAT we do, the SDI® 2.0 helps us understand WHY we behave and HOW we relate to each other. Using Relationship Intelligence (RQ), the SDI 2.0 provides a common language for understanding what’s important.

Relationship building is more than a soft skill, and the SDI 2.0 plays a direct role in helping us relate to others – building our ability to improve dialogue.

With a focus on our Motives, the SDI 2.0 provides a critical connection to a key leadership skill – the 'art of influence.' It is easier to communicate with and influence someone when what’s important to them is understood. This insight helps you choose the best approach for engaging people whose thinking and behavior appear much different from your own."

Conflict Within Members

Workshop - "Spirit-Led Emotional Management"

There are many stressors and anxiety-provoking situations in life, and they can wreak havoc on emotions.  Jennifer Schrappe is an experienced, accomplished speaker and can offer a workshop teaching members a more intuitive, effective method of managing stress & emotions - in a way that connects them with the living, transforming Holy Spirit. In these workshops participants will:

  1. Learn how emotions may be interfering with the day-to-day
  2. Develop a better understanding of, as well as a working relationship with, the emotional system
  3. Achieve greater productivity, interpersonal relationships, and life satisfaction through more effective emotional management

We also offer a program aimed at helping members steward their finances wisely and overcome the unhealthy spending patterns.  This program is called:

Finding Peace & Hope With Money

Do your members find themselves repeating the same patterns with money?

  • They’ve tried to set a budget but just can’t stick to it
  • They’ve struggled with overspending
  • Maybe even thinking about money brings some tension
  • They’re repeating the same unhealthy patterns, year after year
  • Perhaps this has even been a repeated source of conflict in their relationships

If your members identify with any of the above, the issue may not just be with how they manage their money. There could be emotional reasons that keep them stuck, not able to get ahead.

To help people make real financial progress, Brian Johnson, a Money Coach, and Jennifer Schrappe, a Clinical Counselor, have put together a mini-course called Finding Peace & Hope With Money to address these struggles head on. They can also offer coaching programs in which cohorts meet regularly over Zoom for live trainings, inspiration, and support. These trainings will not only teach sound financial management, but will also equip participants to thrive emotionally with their money.

In this coaching program, participants would gain:

  • A better understanding around their struggles with finances
  • A tried and true roadmap for successful money management
  • Inspiration, support, and encouragement from fellow cohort members, as well as learning they aren’t the only ones with money struggles
  • Healing and peace in areas where there have been long-standing struggles with money
  • A self-compassionate and ~chill~ way to manage their finances
